We are seeking a commercially focused energy professional to support the growth of our portfolio of flexible assets in the Netherlands. In this crucial role, you will act as the primary commercial and operational contact for our Dutch partners. You will be the central figure in nurturing our client relationships and serving as the essential link between the local market and our headquarters in Cologne, ensuring our partners receive outstanding support and our commercial activities run smoothly.

- You take full ownership of the partner value chain, from supporting the commercial process and guiding new partners through technical onboarding to managing the ongoing relationship with both customers and grid operators.
- You act as the crucial bridge between the Dutch market and our central teams in Cologne, ensuring partner needs and local market feedback are translated into action by our trading, data, and tech experts.
- You dive deep into the numbers to drive value, including creating compelling commercial offers, running profitability checks, and handling settlement reviews.
- You proactively maintain and enhance the operational tools and workflows that support our local business, with a constant eye for streamlining and automation.
- You thrive in a small, entrepreneurial squad where you’ll switch hats daily—from resolving a support ticket to tweaking a forecast—to collectively drive results and ensure partner success.
These are your qualifications and skills
- You have proven experience in a commercial, operational, or customer-facing role within the power, renewables, or energy-tech industry (e.g., at a utility, TSO, PPA desk, or a successful trainee track).
- You possess a solid grasp of the Dutch wholesale and imbalance power markets (SDE++, FCR, aFRR, mFRRda) and have a sharp nose for commercial value.
- You bring an analytical mindset and strong confidence in using Excel/Google Sheets for modelling and analysis. Experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- You demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain complex topics clearly to both clients and colleagues.
- You bring a supportive and collaborative attitude combined with an "ownership" mentality—you thrive on helping partners succeed and are motivated to ensure operational and commercial excellence.
- You are fluent in both Dutch (native level) and English (professional fluency); German is a big plus.
